Kenneth Del Vecchio is a critically acclaimed filmmaker who has written, produced and directed nearly 30 feature films that star 100+ film and TV stars, including multiple Academy Award and Emmy winners and nominees. His films are distributed through industry leaders such as NBC/Universal, Anchor Bay, Millennium Entertainment, Cinedigm, Screen Media Films, Vivendi Entertainment, Green Apple Entertainment, Midnight Releasing, Fabrication Films, Cardinal XD, and E-1 Entertainment. He has starred in numerous movies, as well. Mr. Del Vecchio is founder and chairman of Hoboken International Film Festival, called by FOX, MY and other major media “One of the 10 Biggest Film Festivals in the World.” He also is the author of some of the nation’s best-selling legal books, including criminal codebooks published by Prentice Hall and ALM. A best-selling criminal suspense novelist, he penned his first published novel at only 24-years-old. In addition, he serves as chairman of the historic Paramount Theater in Middletown, NY, and he is the owner of the Criminal Law Learning Center, where he has taught thousands of police officers and lawyers…And he is a former Judge, who also has tried over 400 cases as a practicing criminal attorney.
In 2013, Kenneth Del Vecchio moved his entertainment business operations to Middletown’s Paramount Theater, wherein he immediately re-instituted having the theater screen movies seven days a week – and brought in top, live comedy shows such as Kevin Nealon, Paul Reiser, Gilbert Gottfried, Larry Miller, Jimmie Walker, and Vic DiBitetto; this type of programming had not been performed in nearly 20 years at the Paramount. Mr. Del Vecchio’s efforts have brought the Paramount Theater unprecedented attention, to the extent where even Jay Leno mentioned it on “The Tonight Show” in one of his last appearances. More so, Mr. Del Vecchio moved his world renowned Hoboken International Film Festival to Middletown in 2013, and it is now an economic and entertainment staple in Orange County, New York, with its fourth year at the Paramount occurring in June, 2016. Additionally, he has shot several of his movie productions in the Hudson Valley since his arrival. His film festival and movie shoot events have attracted hundreds of film and TV stars to Middletown and Orange County, as well as over 15,000 people each year. Through all of this, Mr. Del Vecchio has been credited by media and elected officials with infusing millions of dollars into the Hudson Valley economy yearly, and creating hundreds of jobs.
